
MODULE SPECIFICATION
The program utilises a blend of online theory and contact practical classes** to provide part-time education and qualification opportunities with reduced disruption to your practice.
Start date: 22 September 2025
Module 1: Patient Assessment, Diagnosis & Treatment Planning (online delivery). 15 credits
Module 2: Preclinical Practical Skills Week (5 day contact class in Cambridge)***. 15 credits
Module 3: Implant Prosthodontics and Occlusion (online delivery). 15 credits
Module 4: Clinical Cases: various dates for the Beginners (Provided Patients) Pathway**. 15 credits
This 60 credit program entails a total of 600 notional hours of study.
After successful completion the Level 7 Certificate in Implant Dentistry (CertImpDent) is awarded

* Delegates on the Experienced Practitoner Pathway are exempt from attending the Preclinical Practical Skills Week classes
** Delegates on the Beginners (Treat Own Patients) Pathway must completed their 3 mentored cases under the direct supervision of their nominated Local Mentor within 3 years ( before 22 September 2028). Delegates on the Experienced Practitioner Pathway must submit 6 Case Reports before 30 June 2026.
