The Level 7 Certificate in Implant Dentistry is a part time program of 4-12 months duration (exact length depends on the Module 4 Clinical Cases cohort chosen). The qualification is accredited by the regulated UK awarding body, EduQual and is aligned with the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), allowing use of the postnominals PGCert (Imp Dent).
This program is best suited for beginners in implant dentistry.
The program utilises a blend of online theory and contact practical classes to provide part-time education and qualification opportunities with reduced disruption to your practice. For the Clinical Cases module, delegates will attend a 5-day Clinical Training Program with provided patients*.
September - December:
Start date: 18th September 2023
Module 1: Patient Assessment, Diagnosis & Treatment Planning (online delivery). 15 credits
Module 2: Preclinical Practical Skills Week (5 day contact class 3rd-7th October 2022). 15 credits
Module 3. Implant Prosthodontics and Occlusion (online delivery). 15 credits
October onwards:
Module 4: Clinical Cases: various dates. 15 credits
This 60 credit program requires a total of 600 notional hours of study.
After successful completion the accredited Level 7 Certificate in Implant Dentistry is awarded
